Recording in the Athlee app is simple — but there are a few important details to know.
• The recording button (the round red button) is only visible when the delay selector is set to Live.
• If you have chosen a delay (e.g. 5 s., 10 s.), the recording button will disappear.
• If you can’t find the recording button, switch the delay selector back to Live.
1. Make sure the delay selector is set to Live.
2. Tap the red recording button to start recording.
3. Tap the button again to stop the recording.
• By default, all recordings will appear in the annotation panel.
• From here, you can annotate, analyze, and review the video right away.
If you prefer to skip the annotation panel and simply make a series of recordings:
1. Go to the Menu → Save Directly to Photos.
2. Activate the Save to Photos slider.
• Recordings will now be saved directly to the iPad’s Photos app.
• They will no longer appear in the annotation panel.
To return to the default behavior (recordings in the annotation panel), go back to the same menu and disable Save to Photos.
Tip: Coaches often use the annotation panel when they want to analyze a single recording in detail, but switch to Save to Photos when they want to collect a lot of clips quickly.
