Athlee Cameras are designed to work together automatically when used in a multi-camera setup. Depending on how your system is configured, the cameras will connect in different ways — either by creating their own Wi-Fi network or by joining a facility Wi-Fi.
Here’s how it works in each mode:
When cameras are in factory reset mode:
Each camera creates its own unique Wi-Fi network (e.g., Athlee-ABCD).
These cameras do not detect or connect to each other.
Each camera must be accessed and streamed from individually.
This is best for testing or when using only one camera.
In this mode, cameras are pre-configured with a shared network name (e.g., Athlee Dolphins or Athlee Streaming).

Important Tip:
If you turn on all cameras at the same time, they may all try to become hosts — creating multiple Wi-Fi networks with the same name. On the iPad, this can be confusing: The iPad only shows one network name, even if multiple networks have that same name. This can cause strange or unpredictable behavior in the app.
Best Practice:
Turn on one camera first. Wait 30 seconds. Then turn on the others. This ensures only one becomes the host, and the rest join correctly.
If your team has a strong 5 GHz Wi-Fi at the pool, you can configure all cameras to use it.
