You can reset an Athlee camera in two ways: on the camera (hardware reset) or through the Athlee app (software reset).
Option 1: Reset via the Camera (Hardware Reset)
1. Make Sure the Camera Is On
- First, the camera needs to be turned on.
- Check that the LED on the power switch is lit — that means the camera is powered on and ready.
2. Hold the Power Button for 15 Seconds
- Now, press and hold down the power switch — and keep holding it for 15 full seconds.
- This is different from turning the camera on or off, which only needs a quick tap.
- Here, you must hold it down continuously.
3. Look for the Blinking LED
- After 15 seconds, release your finger.
- You’ll see the LED start blinking — this means the reset process has been successfully started.
4. Wait a Couple of MinutesThe reset takes a few minutes, so hang tight.

5. Look for the New Wi-Fi Name
- When the reset is complete, go to your iPad or iPhone’s iOS Wi-Fi settings.
- You’ll now see a new Wi-Fi network called something like:
Athlee-XXXX — where the four capital letters (like XXXX) are randomly generated.
6. Default Password: 12345678
- Once you see that name, your camera is reset.
- You can now connect to the camera using the default password: 12345678.
Option 2: Reset via the Athlee App (Software Reset)
- Turn on the camera.
- Open the Athlee app on your iPad or iPhone.
- Ensure you’re connected to the camera (either directly to the camera’s Wi-Fi or on the same pool/facility Wi-Fi so the app can see it).
- Open the camera in the app.
- Navigate to the Wi-Fi Management menu and reset the camera.
