To reset an Athlee camera, you use the power button on the camera itself (hardware reset).
Reset via the Camera (Hardware Reset)
1. Make Sure the Camera Is On
- First, the camera needs to be turned on.
- Check that the LED on the power switch is lit — that means the camera is powered on and ready.
2. Hold the Power Button for 15 Seconds
- Now, press and hold down the power switch — and keep holding it for 15 full seconds.
- This is different from turning the camera on or off, which only needs a quick tap.
- Here, you must hold it down continuously.
3. Look for the Blinking LED
- After 15 seconds, release your finger.
- You'll see the LED start blinking — this means the reset process has been successfully started.
4. Wait a Couple of Minutes
- The reset takes a few minutes, so hang tight.
5. Look for the New Wi-Fi Name
- When the reset is complete, go to your iPad or iPhone's iOS Wi-Fi settings.
- You'll now see a new Wi-Fi network called something like:
Athlee-XXXX — where the four capital letters (like XXXX) are randomly generated.
6. Default Password: 12345678
- Once you see that name, your camera is reset.
- You can now connect to the camera using the default password: 12345678.
